One Way Green
There was a time when piping bags were either transparent, blue or red.
Users of these piping bags mainly lacked the grip, and therefore comfort, to work efficiently. One Way decided to meet their demand and introduced a premium piping bag with a rubber outer layer. One Way decided that this newly developed piping bag, with its exceptional grip and unique quality, deserved a distinctive signature. We therefore decided to give it an apple green colour.
Competitors thought the green colour was just a weird idea at first, but over time they started copying the green colour to piggyback on the success of the Green Grippy Piping Bag. But now you know that One Way makes the one and only green piping bag.
One Way's green bags are available in 'Masterline Green' and 'Comfort Green' colours. The green One Way piping bag even features prominently on the One Way logo.

Quality assurance
One Way safeguards the quality of its product range through certified production that meets international standards. Our products undergo independent inspections to ensure they meet the highest standards. The internal quality department continuously monitors consistency in strength, flexibility and colouring. Since 2010, we have successfully achieved BRC certification every year, demonstrating objectively and independently that we meet the highest standards.
To ensure the quality of our products, One Way has its own quality measurement system and associated equipment. This allows us to perform interim measurements and checks, making our guarantees demonstrable and allowing us to continuously work on improvements.
Traceability systeem
An essential part of our quality system is traceability. We accurately record which raw materials go into each product, where they come from and which customers the end products are supplied to. As a result, all our packaging is assigned a unique lot code. We know exactly which production line, which team and which raw materials were involved in the production of a product. We are able to trace an individual product back to the exact raw materials used.
Continuous improvement
Our supply chain is constantly exposed to changing and more stringent requirements and legislation. As a team, we are constantly seeking new solutions and improving our processes and products. Our history
Founding of One Way
One Way Plastics was founded by Jan van der Straaten in late 1996.
The first production of piping bags starts in Breda
In 1997, Jan starts manufacturing and selling multi-layer piping bags.
Improvement of grip
In 2005, the piping bags are improved with exceptional grip.
Birth of the One Way Comfort Green piping bag
In 2008, the One Way Comfort Green piping bag is introduced. This piping bag is still sold today.
Introduction of the One Way Sweetliner (the cornet)
In 2016, the Sweetliner is introduced and included in the product range.
Introduction of the One Way Masterline
After more than 15 years of successful sales, One Way develops the Masterline. This is the number one transparent piping bag with a coloured tip, combining the best of both worlds. This results in the perfect combination of colour (for HACCP guidelines) and transparency for use and storage.
